I am pleased to announce that WILDLIFE COOPERATIVE and SOUTHEASTERN LAND GROUP have teamed up. Let our land management professionals work on your behalf when it’s time to sell land, lease land, or buy land.

Wildlife Cooperative specializes in developing our own exclusive recreational hunting and fishing leases across the Southeast and Midwest. Why lease your property to Wildlife Cooperative? In short, we pay you top dollar and then improve the land at our cost. The longer we manage it, the more your land value increases. I am a forester and Certified Wildlife Biologist with 30+ years’ experience managing timberland, agricultural land, and recreational land.

How does it work? We secure private lands on long-term lease. Lease sizes range from under 100 acres up to thousands of acres. Each one is a stand-alone lease. Wildlife Cooperative is the lessee operating the lease. Wildlife Cooperative does not sublease a property. We actively oversee the lease as an advocate for the landowner and as a steward of the resources entrusted to us. After a new lease is secured, a sustainable wildlife management plan is then created for the property in consultation with the landowner. Membership is capped based on an acres-per-member ratio intended to limit hunting pressure. Typically 200:1 in the Southeast and as high as 1,000:1 in the Midwest.

Members are selected through a rigorous screening process. We operate the lease to ensure that members comply with legal, ethical and fair chase hunting. We collect and analyze harvest data to ensure sustainability of the wildlife resources. Our approach to hunting leases benefits the landowner and lease members. Our leases offer a higher quality experience through reduced hunting pressure and quality wildlife management.

Southeastern Land Group is a full-service land and farm brokerage firm serving buyers and sellers of rural land in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Louisiana.
